These beautiful stained glass wind chimes are made from many different kinds and colors of glass. They are accented with brilliant glass beads in different colors and styles, some crystal, and sometimes shell pieces. Our wind chimes are all strung on high-quality stainless steel wire that is coated with nylon and secured with jewelry crimps. Our chimes are then topped with a wire hanger that has been bent into a spring-like design for a little extra motion and interest.
Each set of wind chimes is different. The natural qualities of the stained glass keep any two sets of chimes from being exactly alike. Stained glass varies in color, texture and pattern. Different beads and accent pieces are used on each set of chimes. When ordering, keep in mind that your chimes will be just a little different from what you see in our photos, which is what makes them unique from any other wind chimes.
High quality stained glass and glass beads are used for each set of chimes for a truly artistic result. When finding a place to display and enjoy your wind chimes, consider keeping them protected from strong wind that can break the glass. Great places to display your chimes may be a sunny window or a protected patio, porch or deck. If you choose to hang your chimes outside, just be sure to bring them in during stormy or strong windy weather.
Our wind chimes create beautiful soothing sounds that come from no other type of materials. The shape and thickness of the glass pieces created different tones. Larger pieces of glass produce a deeper type of chime and smaller pieces create a lighter chime. Please take care to handle these wind chimes as you would any other glass artwork. Glass can break and have sharp edges if it does.
